Dr. Amir Abbasi attended George Mason University where he obtained his bachelor of science in biology before obtaining his medical degree at the California College of Podiatric Medicine. He then went on to complete his reconstructive foot & ankle surgery residency program at Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Abbasi is board certified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is affiliated with the Mainline Health System Hospitals: the Bryn Mawr Hospital, the Paoli Hospital, the Lankenau Hospital, and Penn Medicine at Chester County Hospital. Dr. Abbasi’s expertise includes all aspects of foot and ankle care including simple and complex deformities, conservative and surgical intervention of traumatic injuries, cosmetic forefoot/bunion surgery, ankle arthroscopy, joint implants, diabetic limb salvage, wound care, and sports medicine.
