Senior Health (Geriatric Medicine)
Board certified since 2000
Choosing a mental health provider is deeply personal. Many people I work with arrive feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of what they need — only that something isn’t quite right. I offer a space that’s unrushed and judgment-free, where you’re met with care, clarity, and compassion. As both a physician and a listener, I bring a balance of medical insight and human understanding. I’m thoughtful with treatment, integrating medication only when it truly supports your process. Clients often tell me, “I finally felt understood.” My work is especially attuned to young adults, professionals, caregivers, and individuals navigating complex life transitions or identity questions. If you’re seeking care that honors your full story, I’d be honored to support you.
My path into medicine began with a fascination for how the mind and body connect. At Stanford, I studied biology with a focus on human behavior, but I knew early on—my calling was people, not just science. After earning my M.D. from Temple University, I trained in family medicine and geriatrics, later expanding into addiction care. I’ve worked in hospitals, psychiatric units, nursing homes, public health, and correctional systems—meeting people at some of their most vulnerable moments. I’m board certified in Family Medicine, Geriatrics, and Addiction Medicine. Titles aside, what grounds my work is presence, compassion, and deep listening. This practice reflects my belief that healing begins with being seen, heard, and supported—every step of the way.
