1Opening Panel: Navigating Anticipated Medicaid Gaps, Coverage Losses, and Implications for Hospital Systems
This opening panel will bring together senior leaders from Main Line Health alongside key external experts to examine how anticipated shifts in Medicaid coverage, tightening eligibility requirements, and potential increases in uninsured patients may affect healthcare delivery, reimbursement, and access across hospital and ambulatory settings. The discussion will focus on operational and financial implications for health systems, the likely impact on vulnerable populations, and the pressures these changes place on care continuity, resource allocation, and patient experience. Panelists will also discuss practical strategies and potential solutions to mitigate these anticipated challenges, focusing on what hospitals, payors, and state partners can do proactively to support continuity of care and protect access for vulnerable populations.
Moderator: Jim Paradis, President, Riddle Hospital

We’ll highlight real‑world models from your organizations, identifying what’s scalable, what’s required to sustain the work, and how systems can partner to close gaps efficiently and equitably.
