information from multiple sources, including the Centers for Disease
Control and the World Health Organization, to ensure the most current
health risk information available, ensuring your health while
away. We carry all required vaccinations for worldwide travel,
including Yellow Fever, Meningitis, Typhoid, and Japanese Encephalitis
vaccines.
Corporate & Group Travel Information
At Occupational and Travel Health, we specialize in the
development of customized programs to prepare groups for international
travel. Programs can be performed onsite, or here at our
facilities. If you have a group of people traveling and wish to
have a group education and vaccination session, our travel health
experts are here to help!

Q. How far in advance should I schedule my appointment?
A. We recommend scheduling your appointment approximately 4-6
weeks prior to your departure date.
Q. What information should I be prepared to bring with me for my
consultation?
A. Any and all vaccination records for travelers, along with a
copy of a detailed itinerary for your trip indicating specific areas
being visited, and any planned activities.
Q. Why do I need a Travel Consultation?
A. Everyone has their own unique health history, travel
itinerary, vaccine history, and plans for their trip. To properly
determine recommended vaccinations and provide traveler’s prescriptions,
a complete review of all of this information along with health and
safety education is necessary.
Q. Are any vaccinations required for my trip?
A. In some areas of the world, there are vaccine requirements
for entering the country or certain areas of the country. We will
review all of this information with you, as well as provide any required
vaccines and proper documentation for your trip during your Travel
Health Consultation.
Q. How long can I expect to spend in the office for my Travel
Consultation?
A. Travel Consultations generally last about an hour, but can
be longer depending on individual medical history, locations being
visited, length of stay, or if multiple people plan to attend the
consultation.
Q. Will my insurance cover my Travel Health Consultation and
Vaccinations?
A. Coverage is dependant on your personal insurance carrier and
your level of coverage. You will be provided with a detailed
invoice of services provided which can be used to submit to your
carrier.
