Main Line Health Nurse Residency Application Process
Main Line Health will be accepting applications for our Nurse Residency
Program from Dec. 1, 2014 through Dec. 19, 2014. The Nurse Residency
position will be titled “Nurse Residency Program-MLH-2015.” Please
follow the link below to register and search for the position. There is
one general application for all five of the Main Line Health
entities—Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital,
Riddle Hospital and Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital. Specific units will be
discussed at the initial interview.
All applicants must be a graduate of a BSN program or an upcoming
graduate of a BSN program and preferred 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Required application materials
The following information is required for the application to be
considered complete and MUST be emailed to email@example.com
after you apply online. Note: all required documents must be in one
email from each applicant and you can apply online without a resume if
you experience difficulty uploading your resume.
Current resume (cover letters can be included but are not
Unofficial transcript (must reflect your most recent
semester available and cumulative GPA; this should be from your
BSN program, not a previous degree)
Two clinical recommendations from clinical instructors,
not managers or professors; MLH does not have a set form for
your instructors to use. Please have your instructors address
the letter to Jessica deSimone. If your instructors will not
provide you with your recommendations directly, please have them
email the recommendation directly to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you will be doing this, please note in your email with your
other documents that your instructor(s) will be emailing the

you utilized evidence based practice to guide
your decisions for patient care.
Describe a specific clinical situation where you
had to use critical thinking skills.
List of your top three clinical areas of interest for program
and top three Main Line Health hospitals.
Once you apply online, you will receive an automatic email confirmation
that your application has been received. Due to the high volume of

about the status of your application.
If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted via phone by
the beginning of February. Only candidates selected for an interview
will be contacted.
