Main Line Health Nurse Residency Application Process
Main Line Health will be accepting applications for our Nurse Residency
Program through Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 10:00 am. This application
is for candidates who have NOT previously applied to the Nurse Residency
Program. The nurse residency position will be titled “Nurse Residency
Program-Summer/Fall/Winter 2016.” The start date is based on your
graduation and board date (however, we are looking at positions starting
in late summer 2016, fall 2016 and winter 2016). December 2016 graduates
are welcome to apply. Register and search for the position online at Careers
at Main Line Health. There is one posting for all seven of the Main
Line Health entities: Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli
Hospital, Riddle Hospital, Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, Mirmont Treatment
Center and HomeCare & Hospice.
If you are graduating in the Winter, Spring or Summer of 2017,
another application will be posted later this year for you to apply.
All applicants must be a graduate of a BSN program or an upcoming
graduate of a BSN program with a preferred 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Required application materials
The following information is required for the application to be
considered complete and MUST be attached to your application. Please
attach all required documents into one PDF and upload
with your application when applying. Please also make sure that all
documents are viewable when sending (documents that are not viewable
will not be considered).
Unofficial transcript which MUST include your
cumulative GPA – Please note, an official transcript will be
required if you are offered a position
Cover letter listing why you are interested in
an opportunity at Main Line Health and the following (no more
than one page):
List of your top three clinical areas of
List of your top three Main Line Health
hospitals of interest*
*Please note, while we try to have each candidate interview where
they have an interest, however, nothing is guaranteed and is based on
the applicant pool and position availability.
Please note, you will be required to submit two letters of
recommendation if you are selected for an interview (not at the
time of application). These letters must be from clinical instructors
and can be emailed to the nurse residency email address at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We do not have a specific form for your instructors to use (if your
school does have a standard form, that is acceptable). If need be,
letters can be addressed to Connie Samulewicz, lead recruiter. These
recommendations are in addition to employment references which will be
done if you are selected for an interview.

Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. If you are
selected for an interview, we will be inviting candidates to attend an
information session to gain more information about Main Line Health, the
Nurse Residency Program and to schedule you for an interview.
