This test uses blood pressure cuffs and handheld Doppler ultrasound to
obtain information about arterial blood flow in the arms and legs. The
goal of this test is to determine the presence, severity and general
location of blockages in the blood vessels in the arms or legs
(peripheral arterial occlusive disease). This test may also be called a
Doppler Segmental Pressure Study.
