Main Line Health provides quality healthcare to the community,
including patients who lack health insurance or who do not
otherwise have the ability to pay for services. In cases of emergency
medical needs, we provide care to all patients, regardless of where they
live or their ability to pay. For non-emergency care, it is Main Line
Health's policy to provide free or discounted care for medically
necessary services to those who live within the Main Line Health service
area and who meet eligibility requirements.
Main Line Health's Charity Care and Financial Assistance Policy is based
on income levels defined by the federal government. Depending on family
size, free care is available for patients whose household income does
not exceed 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Limit (FPL). Discounts are
available for patients with family incomes up to 500 percent of the FPL,
again depending on family size.
Details of our Charity Care and Financial Assistance Policy are
available by clicking the links below or by calling Main Line Health
Patient Accounting at 484-829-6060. Our specially trained staff works
confidentially and respectfully with patients to review and explain the
details of our policy and to determine eligibility.
We believe our Charity Care and Financial Assistance Policy continues
our long tradition of caring for those in need, while also ensuring Main
Line Health's ongoing ability to serve the entire community with quality
healthcare.
