Baby Room and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Riddle is continuously monitored by
a select group of core neonatologists, specially trained doctors
for babies, who will be there for any unforeseen problem that
your term or premature baby may have. Our team of nurses and doctors has
the specialized technology to help your baby, and they assist one
another to optimize the physical, emotional and spiritual well being of
their patients and their families, leading to exemplary quality of care
and outcomes.
Surgical Services
Surgical Services and Anesthetics
If your obstetrician determines that Cesarean birth is the most
appropriate delivery, this procedure will take place in a nearby
surgical suite. Your comfort and well being as well as that of your baby
are of our utmost concern. Riddle’s anesthesiologists will work closely
with the obstetrical staff to provide pain relief alternatives.
Preparing You For Every Step
Genetic Counseling, Perinatology and High Risk Care
For your convenience, Riddle has a Perinatal Testing Center on
site. Our full spectrum of specialized tests for perinatal
diagnosis and fetal surveillance include Level I and Level II ultrasound
and amniocentesis. Routine perinatal testing takes place during the
week. Perinatologists and obstetricians collaboratively manage high-risk
pregnancies. Genetic counseling is available for those who have
questions regarding inherited traits. All of Riddle’s Birthplace
professionals are expertly trained. They will work closely with you and
your family, striving to alleviate your anxiety by letting you know what
