Keith’s amputee story

Patient Story

After a fall from a ladder during a home renovation project left his ankle shattered, Keith needed amputation surgery on his left leg. A busy father of four, he was concerned about how long it would take him to get back to coaching in his children’s athletic leagues and providing for his family. He knew Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital was the right choice for his rehabilitation.

“What I heard about Bryn Mawr Rehab was that they weren’t going to let me sit in the wheelchair…that they were going to push me,” recalls Keith. And push they did. Less than one month after his amputation surgery, Keith wasn’t just back at work, he was back to coaching, playing, and making memories on the field.
