specialized in the treatment of celiac disease and
includes expert staff from our nutrition and pharmacy
Our dietitians teach how to remove gluten from your
diet, properly prepare meals and be adventurous in the
use of gluten-free grains. They also provide strategies
for eating out and with so many gluten-free items on the
market today, assistance in making better food choices.
The food service department at Paoli Hospital received
G.R.E.A.T. (Gluten-free Resource Education and Awareness
Training) certification from the National Foundation for
Celiac Awareness, ensuring the proper serving of
gluten-free foods to both patients and guests. Patients
admitted to Paoli and following a gluten-free diet will
be hand-delivered a gluten-free menu specially created
by our executive chef and registered dietitian.
