services for women of all ages.
Our obstetricians offer complete, family-centered care for women
with normal and high-risk pregnancies, which includes monitoring and
testing during pregnancy and delivery of the newborn and care for the
mother throughout the postpartum period.
Our gynecologists provide expertise in a wide range of services. They
provide complete reproductive medical care for women from
adolescence through the postmenopausal period. This includes
contraceptive services, care of the problems of perimenopause, and both
symptomatic and preventive care in the postmenopausal years. They
are experienced in the latest endoscopic techniques, including
diagnostic and operative laparoscopy, the loop electrosurgical
excision procedure (LEEP), and laser, abdominal and vaginal pelvic
surgery.
Specialties
Gynecologic Oncology
Our gynecologic oncology team offers comprehensive care to patients
with cancers and premalignant lesions of the reproductive organs.
Services include a full range of diagnostic studies, cancer screening
and genetic counseling for high-risk families, chemotherapy and
radiation therapy. Advanced surgical procedures include laparoscopic
techniques and continent urinary diversion.
Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Our maternal-fetal medicine specialists provide consultation services,
genetic counseling, ultrasound and complete prenatal care for the
high-risk pregnant woman.
Reproductive Endocrinology
Our reproductive endocrinologists specialize in the diagnosis of
infertility and its treatment by in vitro fertilization (IVF), gamete
intrafallopian tube transfer (GIFT), insemination, surgery (laser,
microscopic or hysteroscopic) and other reproductive technologies.
They also treat endometriosis, early pregnancy loss, hirsutism and
disorders of growth and development. Consultation and ultrasound
evaluation are offered to help in the treatment of complex gynecologic
problems, including irregular bleeding, pelvic pain, menopausal and
perimenopausal complaints and management of estrogen replacement.
