Practice Philosophy

Sydnee is a behavioral health therapist with a Master of Social Work from West Chester University and she is a licensed social worker in the state of Pennsylvania. Sydnee has been working in the field for over five years in outpatient as well as inpatient treatment facilities. Her passion is working with people suffering with the disease of addiction and helping guide them on their journey to wellness. Sydnee works with clients suffering with mental health and co-occurring disorders. She has previous experience in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and is well-versed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5). She also has a background in child welfare, creating a unique set of skills to support those dealing with childhood trauma and who are working to support their own children while in treatment. Sydnee is trauma-informed and is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction.
