Kristina Wilson
Practice Philosophy

Kristina earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology at Kutztown University and went on to complete her Master’s of Arts in Marriage in Family Therapy with a focus in addictions at LaSalle University. She has experience with working in inpatient facilities focusing on methods to enhance family systems. Her professional passion is to support families in recognizing that addiction is not just a disease of a single individual, but of the entire family system. The family has the opportunity to recover when everyone is involved in making efforts to develop healthy coping skills, set appropriate boundaries, and address codependency or other unhealthy behaviors. Kristina uses a variety of approaches in conjunction with Bowen Family Systems therapy where she supports the family in identifying generational patterns through the use of genograms, recognizing and minimizing anxiety within the family system, and enhancing each person’s relationship with themselves within the rest of the family unit.
