Practice Philosophy

Dominique is a master’s-level clinician who graduated from Immaculata University with a degree in counseling psychology and a certification in secondary guidance counseling. She has worked in several positions at Mirmont throughout her schooling, including clinical aide, admissions counselor, and behavioral health therapist in various levels of care. Dominique has also worked closely with the Diversity, Respect & Inclusion committee and has presented on a variety of topics, including elderly and substance abuse. She has participated in Martin Luther King Day, presenting on her career in health care. Dominique has completed the mindfulness-based stress reduction course, along with trainings on trauma-informed counseling. This has helped her care for her clients struggling with both addiction and co-occurring mental health issues.
