Practice Philosophy

Carolyn received her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Immaculata University in 2017. She is currently working toward her license as a professional counselor (LPC) and her yoga teacher certification (RYT-200). Carolyn uses mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) techniques and yoga to help clients connect to their full potential through mind-body-spirit education and integration. She is committed to supporting others on their healing journey. Her dedication to professional growth through ongoing education, workshops, and training enables her to work with integrity and uphold the best ethical practices for her clients. Carolyn takes a calm, grounded, non-judgmental approach with her clients to ensure that she is prioritizing and supporting them safely and appropriately. In her role as an addiction counselor, she also works with and supports families by providing encouragement, education and resources.
