My focus is on studying cancer modifiers such as thrombin and polyamines, which support and promote tumor growth, metastasis and resistance to treatment. By studying these tumor modifiers, we hope to develop novel therapies to help treat cancer. I am also interested in lipoprotein and cholesterol metabolism and how they influence heart disease and cancer.
