Internal Medicine Faculty for Lankenau Medical Associates (Philadelphia Suburbs)

We hope you will consider joining an exciting, innovative, inclusive-care friendly, academic primary care practice! Our faculty members split time between their individual patient panel and precepting with the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Lankenau Medical Center, in a resident-faculty co-practice model. Teaching responsibilities include supervising 48 categorical internal medicine residents in an X+Y block schedule model, delivering didactics during educational half days or noon conferences, supervising fourth year medical students on their ambulatory sub-internship, and participating in triannual residency clinical competency meetings. The ideal candidate must maintain an educational environment conducive to teaching, supervising, and evaluating residents within each of the ACGME competencies. Candidates are also expected to participate in and mentor quality improvement projects to enhance patient care within the practice.

The ideal candidate must be a board certified or eligible DO or MD in Internal Medicine.
