After completing Medical School at Washington University, I completed a seven year residency at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. This included two years of research in cancer and nutrition, a year fellowship in Surgical Oncology and a Chief Residency year.
I then joined the staff at Paoli Hospital and have since risen to the position of Chief of Surgery. I have held the office of Chief of the Medical Staff for Main Line Health, been President of the Medical Staff at Paoli Hospital, am currently the Directory of the Holloway Breast Center and have been the Vice President of Medical Affairs for a number of years.
These administrative appointments have contributed to my attention to detail and my significant interest in safety and outcomes of surgical procedures.
While at Paoli Hospital I was instrumental in initiating and advancing laparoscopic surgery beginning with the first laparoscopic gall bladder procedure in Chester County. This program has now grown and includes minimally invasive surgery of almost all organs.
Our practice has multiple offices in the area to try to make patient visits as convenient as possible.
We schedule patients efficiently to minimize their wait time and have an advanced electronic medical record system that allows us to spend face-to-face time with our patients rather than pay attention to a computer.
