I did my undergraduate, graduate training in biochemistry and medical school training all at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. My internship and residency was at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. I did post-graduate fellowship training in pediatric hematology/oncology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. My first faculty job was at the University of Michigan doing research in bone marrow stem cell biology. My next job from 1993-1999 was at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. I moved to Pennsylvania in 1999 and started work at the A. I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE where I am still an attending physician. My areas of expertise are in pediatric brain tumors, sarcomas, and non-malignant hematology. I have published dozens of articles and abstracts on my work.
