Dr. Patel is board-certified in family medicine with a strong interest in the management of diabetes, cholesterol levels, cardiovascular risk, hypertension, and believes in promoting a healthy lifestyle and preventive care as a means to disease prevention. Since 2014, he has been treating patients with chronic issues, as well as walk in’s with urgent conditions, in the Bensalem area.
He earned his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles and completed a residency at the Louisiana State University Rural Family Medicine Residency Program in Bogalusa, LA. Dr. Patel is fluent in English and Gujarati, and is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Main Line HealthCare Family Medicine in Collegeville is located in Suite 200 of the Main Line Health Center in Collegeville at 599 Arcola Road. Dr. Patel welcomes new patients of all ages including newborns. He participates in most insurance plans, including HMOs and PPOs.
