MEDIA ALERT: Main Line Health hosts first Philadelphia Cardiovascular Summit on November 17–18

WHAT: Main Line Health's Lankenau Heart Institute is hosting the first Philadelphia Cardiovascular Summit, welcoming experts in cardiovascular surgery from the tri-state region and beyond to present on industry-leading topics, including cardioversion in the modern era, cardiovascular outcomes, mitral valve regurgitation and repair, detecting silent thoracic aneurysm disease, thoracic and thoacoabdominal aortic aneurysm interventions, contemporary treatment of complex, multi-vessel coronary artery disease, and more.

WHY: The Philadelphia Cardiovascular Summit will deliver a comprehensive, multifaceted program that brings together a diverse group of health care professionals to address current guidelines for and advances in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The program will feature high-level, interactive, robust content with educational lectures delivered by the region’s most esteemed leaders in the field of cardiology and cardiovascular surgery.

WHO: Led by Konstadinos Plestis, MD, system chief of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, Main Line Health; and William Gray, MD, system chief of cardiovascular disease, Main Line Health, the Philadelphia Cardiovascular Summit will bring together leaders in the field of cardiovascular care.
