With a workforce of 17,000 over nine countries and annual sales of more than $8 billion, television and online retailer QVC, based in West Chester, has become a unique business phenomenon in the 30 years since its first broadcast.
The fundamental principles of its success, however, are ones that can be shared by businesses of every size.
That was one of the themes of a wide-ranging conversation between its president and CEO, Mike George, and Main Line Chamber of Commerce President Bernie Dagenais, the centerpiece of the organization’s 2016 Red Carpet Dinner Thursday at the Philadelphia Hilton.
