The NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders) designation indicates an organization’s commitment to elder care excellence by stimulating senior focused-transformation in the culture of health care facilities and achieving patient-centered care for older adults.

The mission of NICHE is to provide principles and tools to stimulate a change in the culture of health care organizations to achieve patient-centered care for older adults.
