Main Line Health dominates the rankings with four of the top 10 spots
Main Line Health’s four acute care hospitals—Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital and Riddle Hospital—have once again been recognized by U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Hospital” rankings as among the top 10 in the Philadelphia region. In addition to the regional ranking, Lankenau Medical Center was listed as among the 10 best hospitals in the state of Pennsylvania.
“This achievement is a testament to the commitment of our physicians, clinicians, employees and volunteers who provide a superior experience to our patients each day,” said Jack Lynch, FACHE, president and CEO, Main Line Health. “I want to extend my deepest thanks to the entire Main Line Health team for their unwavering focus on delivering exceptional patient care. As U.S. News & World Report’s list continually demonstrates, the advanced technology and clinical care provided across Main Line Health places us among an elite group of hospitals in Pennsylvania and within the Philadelphia region.”
U.S. News & World Report publishes Best Hospitals to help guide patients who need a high level of care because they face particularly difficult surgery, a challenging condition or are at an increased risk because of age or multiple health problems. The U.S. News Best Hospitals analysis includes multiple clinical specialties, procedures and conditions. Scores are based on a variety of patient outcomes and care-related factors, such as patient safety and nurse staffing.
The rankings are available online and will appear in the U.S. News “Best Hospitals 2017” guidebook, available in August.
