Dr. Mendel specializes in general cardiology along with non-invasive cardiology including nuclear stress testing and echocardiography. He has an interest in the management of arrhythmias, coronary artery disease and congestive heart failure. He has been in practice for more than 30 years, caring for patients in Delaware and Chester counties.
Dr. Mendel earned his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He completed his internal medicine residency and fellowship in cardiology at the Presbyterian Hospital in New York/Columbia University. Dr. Mendel is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology.
Dr. Mendel welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans, including HMOs and PPOs. He has three convenient office locations in Glen Mills, Springfield and Media.
