Main Line HealthCare is pleased to announce the formation of a new specialty practice, Main Line HealthCare Endocrinology at Riddle, and to welcome endocrinologist Peter Dahl, MD, to the practice. Dr. Dahl joins Main Line HealthCare after practicing with Penn Endocrine Associates in Philadelphia.
Dr. Dahl specializes in the care of patients with disease or dysfunction of the endocrine system—the body’s system that produces and regulates hormones. He has particular expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis (in both women and men), diabetes/prediabetes, thyroid disease (including management of low thyroid during pregnancy), low testosterone in men and thyroid cancer. He is committed to making sure each patient receives an accurate diagnosis and careful evaluation for any factors that may impact successful treatment.
Dr. Dahl earned his medical degree from The University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, VT. He then completed an internal medicine residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY, followed by a fellowship in endocrinology at Weill Cornell–New York Presbyterian Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY. Dr. Dahl is board certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism and is a member of the Endocrine Society.
