Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital September 29, 2015 News Releases

Works for sale in a variety of medium and style

Malvern, PA – The Art Ability Program of Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, part of Main Line Health, is expanding its reach and platform for artists with disabilities with the launch of an online sales gallery,

Art Ability showcases artists with physical, cognitive, hearing and/or visual disabilities. Through Art Ability, Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital creates awareness of the extraordinary talent of people with disabilities and provides a platform for art sales and exposure that may not have been easily accessible to these artists. Artist works are for sale during the annual 12-week exhibition and artists receive 80 percent of sales during that time. An online gallery will extend the timeframe for art sales and allow shoppers to see a larger collection of art spanning the many years of Art Ability.

This year’s Exhibition and Sale marks the 20th year for Art Ability and will open with a Preview Reception on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital in Malvern. Purchase tickets for this event by contacting the Art Ability Office at 484.596.5607. Beginning Sunday, November 8, 2015, the Art Ability Exhibition and Sale will be open daily and is free to the public through January 31, 2016.

Art Ability is supported by generous grants from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and the William Penn Foundation as well as Presenting Sponsor, Construction Services Group.
