Main Line HealthCare (MLHC) physician network and Dr. James I. Weinberg are pleased to welcome John Douglas Lawson, DO, to Main Line HealthCare in Havertown. Board certified in family practice medicine, Dr. Lawson treats patients age 18 and older, including senior adults, and has been providing personalized, compassionate care to families in our region for ten years. He works to build a trusting relationship with his patients, encouraging healthy lifestyle choices and educating them about disease prevention.

Dr. Lawson earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and family practice residency at North Philadelphia Health System, where he served as Chief Intern and Co-Chief Resident. He is on the staff of Main Line Health hospitals—Lankenau Medical Center and Bryn Mawr, Paoli and Riddle Hospitals. Dr. Lawson is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.
