Show features work of 30 area artists with disabilities

WHEN: Opening Reception: Friday, July 24, 2015, 5:30–8:00 pm

WHAT: The Art Ability Program of Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, part of Main Line Health, is exhibiting works by artists with disabilities at Scatter Joy Center for the Arts in Horsham, Pa. The event will feature the work of Art Ability artists, as well as over 30 area artists and students who work through a variety of disabilities to express themselves creatively.

WHO: Sherman Fleming, curator for Art Ability; Sara Baumgardner, Art Ability Coordinator and members of the community will all be in attendance. In its twentieth year, Art Ability showcases artists with physical, cognitive, hearing and/or visual disabilities. Through Art Ability, Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital creates awareness of the extraordinary abilities of individuals with disabilities and encourages the artists to reach beyond their limitations and find fulfillment and inspiration through art.
