Women's Heart Initiative hosted "Paint the Town Red" for Heart Month

Main Line Health March 6, 2015 News Releases

The Lankenau Heart Institute wrapped up Heart Month in style with its “Paint the Town Red” event on February 26, 2015 at Merion Golf Club—a huge success with more than 170 women in attendance! Special guest, Melissa Jacobs, assistant editor for Main Line Today magazine, interviewed guests and Lankenau Heart Institute’s team of female cardiologists on the red carpet throughout the evening to provide educational tips about a woman’s risk of heart disease.

Chaired by Carol Cutler, heart disease survivor and an active leader of the Women’s Heart Initiative, the event offered women from across the region an evening of networking, education, shopping and fun. Many shopped until their heart was content from many local vendors, including Bella Oliva, Gingy’s Boutique, Heigh Ho Jewelry Company and many more. Trish McEvoy Cosmetics provided makeup tips and helped women choose their perfect shade of red. Merion Golf Club Executive Chef Jerry Schreck served up superb heart-healthy hors d’oeuvres and desserts.

The Lankenau Heart Institute and Women’s Heart Initiative want to be partners in your heart health journey.
