Step into Heart Month in February with a Super Walk!

Kick off Super Bowl Sunday in a healthy way

When: Sunday, February 1, 2015, 8:30–10:30 am (rain date: February 8)

What: Main Line Health and the Lankenau Heart Institute, invite the community to put on their sneakers and come out to Super Walk 2015. The event is a kick off to Heart Month and is a fun way for the whole family to engage in a heart-healthy activity. The event will include a special guest appearance by NBC10 meteorologist Glenn “Hurricane” Schwartz, kids’ activities, including face painting, and a health fair.

Why: Heart disease is the #1 killer of men and women. As a leader in the delivery of cardiovascular care, the Lankenau Heart Institute, part of Main Line Health, partners with the community to offer educational programs and activities that spread the word about heart disease. The Super Walk is designed to get Chester County moving and on the road to heart health.
