X Prize finalists design Trekkie-inspired health tools

Basil Harris, an engineer-turned emergency room physician in Paoli, Pennsylvania, is team co-leader for Final Frontier Medical Devices, one of 10 teams named finalists in a $10 million-prize competition to create a lightweight, portable, wireless device that can diagnose and monitor a variety of medical conditions.
