When you or a loved one is seriously ill, it changes all parts of your life. Palliative care can be given at any age or at any stage of a disease or illness. Palliative care is customized to the special needs and wishes of each individual patient.

The palliative care team consists of physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers and chaplains. They focus on the patient and their family members, recommending pain and symptom management options and guiding patients and their loved ones through complex medical decisions to reduce physical and emotional suffering and enhance quality of life.
