Building on orthopedic excellence
Bryn Mawr Hospital's new Patient Pavilion was designed with the orthopedic patient in mind. Opening in February 2019, the pavilion will feature expansive, all private rooms and an on-site gym to help patients begin rehab soon after surgery.
Bryn Mawr Hospital has been ranked by U.S. News & World Report as among the best hospitals in Philadelphia for orthopedics, thanks to our surgeons and team of orthopedic specialists, including orthopedic nurses. In addition to treating injuries, broken bones and dislocations, we are experts in treating sports and trauma-related injuries. We specialize in minimally invasive joint replacement procedures and are participating in the clinical evaluation of a new minimally invasive treatment option for patients with lumbar spinal stenosis and degenerative spondylolisthesis. We also offer postsurgical physical rehabilitation in several locations across the Philadelphia region. Patients further benefit from educational seminars and ongoing support and education from our orthopedic nurses.
Across the street and in collaboration with Rothman Institute, The Orthopaedic Surgery Center at Bryn Mawr Hospital facilitates outpatient surgery procedures. The center is the largest freestanding ambulatory surgery center in the Philadelphia region.
