Building on orthopaedic excellence
Bryn Mawr Hospital's new Patient Pavilion was designed with the orthopaedic patient in mind. The pavilion features expansive, all private rooms and an on-site gym to help patients begin rehab soon after surgery.
Bryn Mawr Hospital has been ranked by U.S. News & World Report as among the best hospitals in Philadelphia for orthopaedics, thanks to our surgeons and team of orthopaedic specialists, including orthopaedic nurses. In addition to treating injuries, broken bones and dislocations, we are experts in treating sports and trauma-related injuries. We specialize in minimally invasive joint replacement procedures and are participating in the clinical evaluation of a new minimally invasive treatment option for patients with lumbar spinal stenosis and degenerative spondylolisthesis. We also offer postsurgical physical rehabilitation in several locations across the Philadelphia region. Patients further benefit from educational seminars and ongoing support and education from our orthopaedic nurses.
Across the street and in collaboration with Rothman Institute, The Orthopaedic Surgery Center at Bryn Mawr Hospital facilitates outpatient surgery procedures. The center is the largest freestanding ambulatory surgery center in the Philadelphia region.
