Dr. Susan Gregory is a pulmonary and critical care physician who sees outpatients with a variety of lung diseases. She has a special interest in caring for patients with disorders of the respiratory muscles (ALS, muscular dystrophy, etc.). She also provides consultative care to hospitalized patients with pulmonary disease, and cares for critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
Dr. Gregory graduated magna cum laude from Duke University. She received her MD degree from the Medical College of Ohio, where she received the Internal Medicine Award at graduation. She did her residency in Internal Medicine, and fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Dr. Gregory is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She is the director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Lankenau Medical Center, and in addition to patient care is involved in many quality and safety initiatives in the ICU. She is active in the education of medical students, residents, and pulmonary/critical fellows and has won numerous awards for excellence in teaching.
