Practice Philosophy

Although I strive to pay great attention to all details of the medical care of my patients, I find that the true joy in being a member of the medical profession stems from getting to know my patients and their families personally.

About Keith R. Superdock, MD

A native of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, I was able to complete both my undergraduate training at the Pennsylvania State University and the Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia in only 5 years graduating summa cum laude from both institutions. I then matriculated to the Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC for my internal medicine residency and subsequently to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center for a nephrology fellowship. While at Vanderbilt, I pursued basic renal physiology research as a funded Associated Investigator at the Nashville Veterans Affairs Medical Center and a junior faculty member of the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Clinical medicine, however, lured me back out of research to patient care and I was able to complete a transplant nephrology fellowship at Vanderbilt before moving to the Philadelphia area to help start the Lankenau Medical Center kidney transplant program. I have enjoyed the challenge of being the medical director of the kidney transplant program for over 22 years while practicing general nephrology with my partners of Nephrology Associates.

My wife, Jennifer, and I have been married for over 26 years and have raised two sons and a daughter in Radnor Township. I am an active member of Proclamation Presbyterian Church.
