I believe that quality vascular care requires not only the ability to understand when my patient's vascular disorder can be safely managed without intervention, when endovascular intervention is indicated and appropriate, and when the problem would be best managed with traditional surgery but also the ability to provide all three solutions. I believe vascular surgeons are uniquely trained to provide all three modalities, which is what drew me to seek additional training in vascular surgery after completing my general surgery training.
