Chimere G. Holmes, LPC
Chimere is a licensed professional counselor with clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families in both community mental health and private practice settings. Chimere brings a diverse array of experience and skillsets to the realm of psychotherapy. An ordained Reverend, Chimere is most passionate about blending her love of spirituality, wellness, and psychology to best assist each of her clients address individual challenges while overcoming difficulties. Chimere treats each therapy session as sacred, as she meets each client where they are and helps them discover the necessary tools and momentum to transform hardships in order to live their best life. An advocate for social and racial justice, she participates in academic panels and professional trainings promoting women's empowerment, ecumenical, and multicultural dialogue.Chimere obtained a Master's degree in theology from Villanova University and a secondary Master's degree in mental health counseling from the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Education. She is currently pursuing her PhD in marriage and family therapy at Eastern University and in October 2018 she was named a 2018 Power Woman by Main Line Today. Chimere is extremely grateful and humbled to assist and journey alongside women and their loved ones on the path to wholeness and wellness.
