About

Alyssa Brouse, LCSW

Alyssa Brouse, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the mental health field since 2014. Alyssa is a native of Western Massachusetts, in the Berkshire Mountains, where she completed her Bachelor of Art degree in psychology, her master’s degree in social work and a certificate in addiction counseling. Alyssa has a diverse work trajectory that has taken her to positions in psychiatric hospitals, child welfare, emergency departments, education and outpatient therapy. As a strengths-based, trauma-informed therapist, she takes into account the environmental stressors and experiences that have affected her clients while helping them hone in on their strengths to make meaningful progress in their treatment journey. Alyssa has completed training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and crisis response management and she enjoys utilizing these tools in her work. Alyssa is a nationally certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor as well as a Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) Instructor. She currently assists in providing MOAB trainings across the Main Line Health system monthly. Alyssa has been with Main Line Health since 2019, starting as an Emergency Room Crisis Clinician, adding on per-diem work on the Behavioral Health unit in 2020, and fully transitioning to a part time role on the Behavioral Health Unit in 2022. She just made another transition, joining the team at the Women’s Emotional Wellness Center in King of Prussia in a full-time capacity in May of 2023. Alyssa runs an intensive outpatient program that runs three days a week for three hours and completes assessments for level of care. When not at work, you can find Alyssa chasing around her one-year-old daughter, enjoying time outdoors hiking, biking and kayaking, and playing with her dog.
