Dr Keller graduated magna cum laude from Franklin & Marshall College with majors in math and chemistry. He attended University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and upon graduation completed his residency in psychiatry at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. This was followed by a fellowship in Consultation Liason Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania. He then taught in the Department of Psychiatry at University of Pennsylvania for 3 years.
Since then he has been in the private practice of Psychiatry and has continued teaching residents in Psychiatry at Penn as a member of the voluntary faculty. Since 1984 he has been a member of Paoli Psychiatric Associates. He has been a member of the medical staff of Paoli Hospital and Main Line Health since 1980. In that role he treated inpatients on the Paoli Hospital Psychiatric unit until it closed, outpatients with chronic pain and trauma at Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital , and adults and adolescents at American Day Treatment Center.
At present his practice is general outpatient psychotherapy and psychiatric care of adults and adolescents at Paoli Psychiatric Associates in Malvern.
