Fellows in the Lankenau Medical Center Hematology/Medical Oncology Fellowship Program will serve in a number of rotations during the three-year program. These rotations are designed to expose the fellow to a wide range of work in the hematology/oncology specialty, as well as offering them work in a variety of settings.

Rotations by training year are listed below.

Year one

  • Inpatient hematology/oncology service, Lankenau Medical Center
  • Outpatient office, Lankenau Cancer Center
  • Radiation oncology, Lankenau Medical Center
  • Laboratory medicine and radiology, Lankenau Medical Center
  • Sub-specialty continuity clinic, Lankenau Medical Center

Year two

  • Inpatient hematology/oncology service, Lankenau Medical Center
  • Outpatient office, Lankenau Cancer Center
  • Surgical oncology, Lankenau Medical Center
  • Bone marrow transplant, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital
  • The Hemophilia Center, Cardeza Foundation, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital
  • Research (two months)
  • Sub-specialty continuity clinic, Lankenau Medical Center

Year three

  • Inpatient hematology/oncology service, Lankenau Medical Center
  • Outpatient office, Lankenau Cancer Center
  • Research (nine months)
