These classes are intended for patients who are scheduled to have a joint replacement at one of our hospitals.

We strongly suggest you attend a pre-op class, as we have found that they are helpful in preparation for this elective procedure. We will discuss joint replacement basics as well as what you need to do before surgery, expectations for the day of surgery and after surgery, and discharge planning information. Questions are taken throughout the class.

Registration is required as classes fill quickly and class times and dates are subject to change. You need only attend one class; duration of the class is one to one and a half hours.

If your schedule does not permit you to attend a pre-op class in person, you may view our free pre-op patient education video online.

This event will be held in the Nursing Classroom. To get to the Nursing Classroom, enter through the main lobby of the hospital. Take the west elevators to the 3rd floor. (the west elevators are pass the main elevators, make a right and follow that hall to the next set of elevators). After getting off the elevators make a left, the Nursing Classroom will be on the right hand side of the hallway.
