Mental Health First Aid training program

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) USA is an evidence-based national training program designed to improve mental health literacy.

The concept is based on the model of medical first aid. It teaches the public how to help a person with a developing a mental health problem (including a substance use), experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem, and those experiencing a crisis.

This event is held in Conference Room 1 of the Administrative Annex. To get to the Annex Conference Room: Drive onto the Riddle Hospital campus through the main entrance. As you drive onto campus, there is a small brick building on your left. This is the Administrative Annex. This building also houses our Thrift Shop. Drive around to the back of the building. Parking is available in the back. The conference room door is under the awning. If parking is not available in the back of the Annex, you can park in the front lot of the hospital and walk over.
