Safe Sitter® is a highly interactive one-day program for boys and girls ages 11 through 14. The program was founded in 1980 by Indianapolis pediatrician, Patricia A. Keener, MD. The purpose of Safe Sitter is to provide life skills, safety skills, and child care training in order to build safer communities.
Safe Sitter is a competency-based, highly interactive curriculum researched and developed by Dr. Keener. First aid information is based on recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Rescue skills information is based on the guidelines of the American Heart Association.
In order to secure a spot for your child in this class, you must register and pay by credit card $60 by calling 1.866.CALL.MLH (225.5654).
After you register, please print and complete prior to class the parental consent form and student contract. A parent or guardian must sign the form for participation. You may fax these forms to 484.227.2988 or mail them to the address below.
