Traumatic brain injury (TBI) has a broad spectrum of severity, clinical presentations and sequelae. Early access to comprehensive rehabilitation services for patients with moderate to severe TBI can significantly improve a person’s functional recovery and enhance the quality of life.
This educational program will provide an overview of traumatic brain injury focusing on neuropathology, patterns of injury, common medical issues, rehabilitation and neuropharmacologic approach, and research potential.
