One in 10 children experience sexual abuse before age 18. Over 90 percent of children know their abuser. We can change that.
Stewards of Children® is a prevention training that teaches adults how to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. The program is designed for mandated reporters, organizations that serve youth, parents and individuals concerned about the safety of children. It is the only nationally distributed, evidence-informed program proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes, and change child protective behaviors.
If you would like to schedule a training session for your community, contact Deborah Ryan at the Crime Victims’ Center of Chester County, Inc. at 610.692.1926 ext. 220 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
This program is approved for two (2) contact hours of continuing education for social workers and nurses.
