Aug 21 2018

This class allows individuals to fabricate a mask of their own using provided supplies. Unmasking Brain Injury is a national organization whose mission is to:

  • Promote awareness of the prevalence of brain injury
  • Give survivors a voice and the means to educate others of what it’s like to live with a brain injury
  • Show others that persons living with a disability due to their brain injury are like anyone else, deserving of dignity, respect, compassion and the opportunity to prove their value as citizens in their respective communities

Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital has been participating in this organization’s project for more than five years. Fabricated masks will then be displayed throughout our hospital along with a written description of the artists’ vision of their masks.

This event will be held in the Patient Dining Room.
