Because the spinal column holds the important bundle of nerves that connects the brain to other parts of the body, any injury to the spine can lead to serious complications. Rehabilitation from a spinal cord injury can be slow, with many steps between the hospital and going home. This educational program will provide an overview of spinal cord injury focusing on the rehabilitation process.
