Local child donates savings to benefit Lankenau patients

Lankenau Medical Center July 18, 2014 Inside Main Line Health

In July 2014, nine-year-old Mariam Jacobs visited Lankenau Medical Center to donate funds she had been saving to make a difference of the lives of those in her community. Mariam decided to donate her savings to help Lankenau's Jewish patients continue their cultural practices during their hospital stay. Here she is with Greg Reif, associate director of development at Lankenau, who accepted Mariam's donation on behalf of the development team.

Thanks to Mariam for her generous donation!
